All about ~ alchemy face and body oil ✨
Alchemy face and body oil was the OG creation of Wildflower and Weed. I was having a hard time finding an oil that was pure, organic AND that posessed beneficial plant properties.. so I thought, why not make one! After a bit of experimenting, I found a blend that really felt right, that garnered food feedback from my testers and that felt versatile and magical.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding hormones had taken my skin on a rollercoaster journey. From beautiful glowing pregnancy skin, to oily break outs from surging hormones, to dry and drained when the hormones drop suddenly! For someone like me, who had mild skin with only occasional breakouts this was a shock to me.
Growing up, skincare was always expressed as important from my mum, bless her soul, but I had no idea how to care for my skin naturally. I recall using generic - and often harsh, face scrubs, moisturisers filled with synthetic fragrances and impossible to say "polymethylethylmonotriterpene" like ingredients! And i always had sore, red, flaky or dry patches on my skin. I started to go down the natural route pretty young and I'm glad I did. I would love for there to be a revolution for skin and self care, that didn't rely on chemicals, synthetic ingredients and the false sense of purity coming from a laboratory ~ which is totally ironic in my humble opinion.

Rosehip is the pinnacle oil for me as its rich vitamin C content promotes healthy cells, tones the skin and it's antioxidant activity targets free radicals ~ Vitamin C prevents premature aging, pigmentation and uneven skin tone. By calling in a pure source of virgin, cold pressed rosehip oil, I am assured it retains the potent vitamin content as well as the abundant essential fatty acids ~ oleic, linoleic and linolenic. These omega's along with the antioxidant lycopene content within rosehip, protect, regenerate and heal skin, improving the texture and tone, assisting the bodies natural ability to repair scars or damaged skin.Rosehip oil is also a rich source of plant source Vitamin A ~ Beta-carotene, which the skin soaks in like a sponge, preventing signs of aging or damage, especially assiting skin that is exposed to environmental stressors. The synergy of almond oil in Alchemy, provides additional vitamin A which is essential in meeting the needs of acne prone skin, as well as providing nourishing antiinflammation.
Jojoba is also a rich source of plant based, fat soluble vitamins A, D and E. It shares a beautiful likeness to our skin's natural oils, allowing it to nourish all skin types throughout our lives. It is deeply moisturising and contains naturally occuring antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
